We need one like it in our school!

If you or your school doesn't have an interactive whiteboard yet, rate the following statements as you think they are true.

SBs will engage my students.
SBs will help all of my students focus better.
SBs are a glorified whiteboard - I can do the same with just a projector.
If in tight budget, I would rather have a projector, than the whole system.
SBs will promote student-centered learning.
SBs will help me give better presentations.
It's best when there are more than 1 teachers with a SB in a school.
I think that certain grades and certain subjects will benefit more than others.
I am getting one in the near future.

I am fascinated by this technology and know it would help me and the students in the classroom!

Today I had a whole board full of useful information, the lesson was really engaging my resource students, but a look at the clock told me to wind things up; another group was about to arrive.  If I had been using a Smartboard, I might have saved the content of my whiteboard and instantly have been  ready for my next group of students.  I can't wait to have a Smartboard to replace all the hastily scribbled notes that I stuff in my pocket and later find trapped in the clothes drier lint.
